She was predeceased by: her father John; her grandmother Walden; and her sister Donna Klasna (Max). She is survived by: her sister Carlene Lankford (Doyle); her husband Reginald "Reggie" Edwards, Jr.; her son Glenn L. Edwards (Sharon); her granddaughter Christine Dofelmier (Travis); her son R. Gregg Edwards (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Zachary Edwards (Abigail), Logan Edwards and Jennifer Smith; her son D. Grant Edwards (Deborah); her grandchildren, Nathan Edwards, David Edwards and Anna Edwards Keels (Jayson Keels); and her daughter Gilda Edwards Ennis. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pittsboro Christian Village (1825 East St, Pittsboro, NC 27312). A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the same location.
