It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin McDowell Berckman (Pleasant Garden, North Carolina), who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Hester Berckman; and his wife Irene Gorrell Berckman. He is survived by: his children, Donald Berckman (Pam) of McLeansville and Karen B. Hatchett (Scott) of Eden, NC.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
