She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Amick and Lucille Amick; her husband Earl Lowe; and her brothers, Cecil Amick and Roger Amick.

She is survived by: her brother Paul Amick (Georgia); and her sibling's children, Taylor Amick (Darby), Tim Amick (Sarah), Traci Amick Reid (William), Dwayne Amick (Shannon) and Scott Amick (Mika).

Memorial donations can be made to Parkinson's Association of the Carolinas in Helen's honor.
