He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Jane Kimel; his parents, AB Kimel and Dorothy Kimel; and his sister Sue DeSanto. He is survived by: his children, Roland Eugene Kimel Jr. (Sharon), Jeffrey Samuel Kimel (Jennifer) and Susan Elizabeth Davis (Brian); and his brother AB Kimel III (Pat) of Greensboro.
