She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil James and Lessie Thomas O'Briant; her husband Everett Smith; and her sisters, Hazel Poe, Mary Elizabeth Poe, Sue O'Briant, Foylee Pickard and Sarah O'Briant.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Greeson (Dean), Geraldine Layton (Michael), Terry Coble (Betty) and Richard Coble (Lorraine); her stepdaughters, Carmaletia Foust (Ben) and Darlene Birchette (George); and her sisters, Barbara Humble, Jean Baran and Marie Ferguson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
