He is survived by : his sister Wanda Mason of Franklin; his stepdaughter Melissa Phillips (Samuel Glascoe) of Newland; his granddaughter Stephanie Phillips of Newland; his stepgrandson Dakota Matthews of Four Oaks, NC; his nephews, Jonathon, Jackie, Jr., Jared, Stephen and Kevin; and his pet Tiny.
