She was predeceased by : her son Gene Henry Peyton Jr.; and her sister Doris Matheny Rasberry. She is survived by : her spouse Gene Henry Peyton; her children, Steven Lewis Peyton (Fay), Dianne Peyton Swain of Plymouth, Timothy Gene Peyton of Roper and Alan Kent Peyton (Sonja) of Moulton Alabama; her brother Ronnie Matheny of Winston Salem; her sister-in-law Shelby Peyton Flint of Edenton; and her aunt Helen Dennis Clark. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
