She was predeceased by : her parents, Dewey Casper Ange and Sara Frances Ange; her husband Samuel Oliver Lucas; and her sister Marceline Andrews. She is survived by : her sons, William Franklin Lucas (Sherlyn) of Plymouth, NC and Bradley Nelson Lucas of Winterville, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda Lucas Lipscomb (Brian), Holly Lucas Eubanks (David) and Patrick Nelson Lucas; her stepgranddaughter Patricia Wilson Thornburg (Joe); her great grandchildren, Lucas Christian Eubanks, Dylan Scott Lipscomb and Austin Drake Lipscomb; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cynthia Dare Thornburg and Joseph Andrew Thornburg Jr..
