He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Woolard Boyd; his children, Kimberly Boyd Duke (Thomas Lee Duke) of Holly Springs, NC and Jason George Boyd (Amy Jones Boyd) of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren, Cameron Lee Duke, Brandon Thomas Duke, Joshua Lane Duke of Holly Springs, NC and Katherine Louise Boyd of Greenville, NC.; Walter Thomas Boyd of Bath, William Henry Boyd of Washington and Robert F. Boyd of Bath.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Plymouth (309 Washington St, Plymouth, NC 27962). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Pamlico Memorial Gardens (161 Avon Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
