He is survived by: his children, Carl Hardison (April), Christie Wise (Mike) and Jennifer Hurlbut (Matt); his brother Jerry Hardison (Pat); his grandchildren, Freddie Wescott (Jennifer), Jeff Wescott, Faith Overton (Travis), Caleb Wise, Lauren Lewis (Jacob), Grace Wise, Sam Hurlbut and Ben Hurlbut; his great grandchildren, Kylie Overton, Grace Overton, Levon Wescott, James Overton, Flynn Lewis, Jedd Wescott, Harper Lewis and Roland Lewis; and his friend Tommy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Hope Church of Christ (6727 Long Ridge Rd, Plymouth, NC 27962). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
