It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Willliams Sugg of Plymouth, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glendora Ange Williams and George Clyde Williams; her friend Nadine Petroff Martin; and her grandmother Beulah Baker. She is survived by: her husband Roger Elwood Sugg of Greene County; her daughter Sarah Elizabeth Sugg of Raleigh; her brother George Williams (Linda) of Jamesville; and her sibling's children, Erin Williams Griffin and David Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plymouth First Baptist Church (309 Washington St, Plymouth, NC 27962). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Gardens (806 NC-32, Plymouth, NC 27962).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Margaret's memory to the Children's Home Society of North Carolina, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children, or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
