She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Chester McGee and Anna Maria Shankle McGee. She is survived by : her son Russell James Shoemaker, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sarah of New York, NY; and her brothers, Victor Chester McGee, Jr. (Anne) of Wilmington, Joseph Hill McGee (Mary) of Charlotte and John Emory McGee of Wilmington. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
