It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Baucom Bowers of Polkton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Spurgeon Baucom and Bessie Howard Baucom; her husband Jackie Lee Bowers; and her siblings, Alfred, Bill, Shelly, Coy Baucom, Ruth Smith and Brenda Stevenson.

She is survived by : her sons, Danny Bowers (Robyn) of Polkton, Reggie Bowers (Cecelia) of Polkton and Sherrill Bowers of Polkton; her grandchildren, Marty Bowers of Seattle, WA, Jaclyn Lammers (Neil) of Charlotte, Josh Bowers, Justin Bowers (Jessica) of Wadesboro and Catherine Bowers of Locust; her great grandchildren, Olivia Lammers, Chandler, Carson, Chloe Lowder, Sadie and Aliya Bowers; and her brothers, Don Baucom (Joy) of Charlotte and Cary Baucom (Pat) of Charlotte. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
