He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Stegall and Violet Louetta Helms Stegall; and his brothers, Donald Stegall and Reece Stegall. He is survived by: his wife Sissy Watkins Stegall; his daughters, Anna Stegall Bullock of Polkton and Felicia Stegall Ruppe of Polkton; his grandchildren, Courtney Stegall of Gastonia, Mike Bullock of Ft. Mill, SC and Ronald Graham of Polkton; his brothers, Kenneth Stegall (Cynthia) of Marshville, Johnny Stegall (Debbie) of Marshville and Mike Stegall of Marshville; his sister-in-law Dong Stegall of Spring Lake; his mother-in-law Dot Carpenter of Wadesboro; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Watkins of Wilmington, Linda Hasty (Joe) of Monroe, Barbara Compton (Gary) of Polkton, Larry Watkins (Sally) of Peachland and Anna Thomas (Gary) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
