He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Baucom and Pearl Owens Baucom; and his brother Shelby Barton Baucom. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carpenter Baucom; his sons, Perry Wilson Baucom (Elizabeth) of Burgaw and Bradley Stuart Baucom of Polkton; his grandchildren, Tyler Baucom (Brittany) of Louisburg, Kaitlyn Baucom of Polkton, Jayden Kiker (Zack) of Polkton and Garrett Baucom of Polkton; his great grandchildren, Carter Baucom, Navy Baucom and Beckam Baucom; his friend Angie Baucom of Polkton; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara (Larry) of Waxhaw, Joyce Meachum (Ray) of Wadesboro, Shirley Hinson (Kenny) of Polkton and Evelyn Carpenter of Wadesboro. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church (4178 Rocky Mt Church Rd, Polkton, NC 28135).
