He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Cornelius Taylor and Pearl Smith Taylor; his siblings, Inez Taylor, Eleanor Stevens and John Taylor; and his great great grandchild Adalyn Mae Martha Kornegay.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Kay Newcomb (Eddie); his grandchildren, Kelly Kornegay (Tommy), Drew Sykes (Ashley), Chelsey Brown (Jonah), Tiffany Wells (Dylan), Tiffany Sweigert (Zach), Chris Stallings, Matthew, Josh and Dustin Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Kayden Newcomb, Avery Pearl Spencer, Guage Norris, Tank Kornegay, Madilyn, Rylen, Maisi Sykes, Daniel, Kaylee Sykes, Jordan, Aldon Wells, Colton Sweigert and Leo Mitchell; his great great grandchild Brantley Keith Norris; his brother Robert Taylor (Myra) of Warsaw, NC; and his caregiver Lisa Cutlip. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
