He is survived by: his father Wilbert Linwood Hughes; his wife Teresa Williford Hughes; his sons, Jamie Hughes (Lisa) of Selma and Michael Hughes (Kelly Jo) of Mt. Olive; his brother Kenneth Hughes (Melissa) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Logan, Mckalyn, Anna and Aubrey; and his friends, Arthur and Teresa.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the SECU Hospice House, 476 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC 27577 in his memory.
