He is survived by: his wife Doris Taylor Davis; his children, Edward Davis Jr. (June Edwards), Paula Davis and Amy Wells (R. G. Wells); his sister Myrtle Jones; his grandchildren, Brandi Hinnant (Matt), Edward Davis III (Nikki), Lance Davis (Jessica), Hunter Davis, Emily Wells and Madison Wells; and his great grandchildren, Ashlan, Zaida, Maverick, Emmi Lou Hinnant, Alexis, John Thomas Davis, Ava and Kyndall Davis. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
