He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Worth Edwards, Sr. and Roxie Wadsworth Edwards; his former wife Peggy Mitchell Edwards; and his siblings, Raine Edwards and Yvonne Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nye Edwards of Red Springs; and his sister Peggy Joyce Edwards of Rhode Island. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew he loved.
