He is survived by: his children, Joseph Allen Mitchell (JoEllen Ross) of Nashville, N. C. and Terry Jo Mitchell Rose (Scott) of Concord, N. C.; his grandchildren, Taylor Rose (Sabrina), Austin Rose (Kaitie Dornauer), Brittany Mitchell (Brandon Anderson), Hunter Mitchell, Maggie Keck (Steve) and Abigail Ross; and his great grandchild Ellie Keck.
