She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Lee and Margaret Miller Busch; and her sister Mary Ann LaRue. She is survived by : her husband Richard Edward Carter; her daughters, Patricia Carter-Morris of Goldsboro and Karen Michelle Johnson of Goldsboro; and her brother Tom Busch of Michigan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
