She was predeceased by: her parents, John James "Jim" Fields, Jr. and Jessie Bertha Wellons Fields; and her brother Holton Fields. She is survived by: her husband James Calvin "Jimmy" Daniel; her children, James Sandlin "Sandy" Daniel (Jane) of Jacksonville, Florida and Jenny Daniel Sheffield (Jeff) of Princeton; her brother Jesse Fields of Roanoke, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jessie Kathryn Sheffield (Roger) of Baytown, Melissa Daniel Covey (Chris) of Jacksonville, Florida and James S. Daniel II (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Karley, Elizabeth Covey, Tripp and Will Daniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home and Cremations (105 E 1st St, Princeton, NC 27569). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Princeton Cemetery.
