He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Mae and Mac Pearce; and his brother Malcom Richards Pearce "Ricky". He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Oliver (Jerry) and Rosa Holston (Walter); his siblings' children, Denise Fox (David), Terri Lee (John), Jason Oliver and Scott Holston; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amber Ballance (Kameron), Victoria Oliver, Savannah Oliver, Olivia Oliver, Tony Lee and John Taylor Lee.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (3644 Old Beulah Rd, Selma, NC 27576).
