She was predeceased by: her father Woodrow Bradley; her husband John Robert Suggs; her siblings, Kay Wiggs, Teresa Woodard and Joseph "Richard" Bradley; and her granddaughter Taylor Braswell.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael Braswell (Sherry) of Princeton, Brian Wesley Braswell (Crystal) of Goldsboro and Wendy Braswell Shope (Marc) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Tamaca Gibbs, Carol Zajac, Crystal Braswell, Michael Stahl, Jason Stahl, Christopher Stahl and Kaitlyn Martin; and her pet Luke. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of NC-Kennedy Home located at 2557 Cedar Dell Ln, Kinston, NC 28504.
