He was predeceased by: his wife Caridad B. Amberson; his parents, Ruby Pravite Amberson and Frank Virgil Amberson; his son Jerome Amberson; and his siblings, David Amberson of Jacksonville, FL, Kenny Amberson of Tampa, FL and Barbara A. Kirkpatrick of Dudley.
He is survived by: his son Glenn Amberson of Tacoma, WA; his daughters-in-law, Pannee Amberson of Fremont and Karen Amberson; his grandchildren, Jeremy Amberson of California, Ashley Seas of California, Kelly Permpoon of California, Glenn Amberson and AJ Amberson; and his sisters, Linda A Walker of Charlotte, NC., Kathy Amberson of Charlotte, NC. and Debbie A Brown of Charlotte, NC..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Nelson Baptist Church (206 W Main St, Eureka, NC 27830). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eureka Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Nelson Baptist Church, 206 W. Main Street, Eureka NC 27830.
