With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia Lee of Princeton, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Virginia left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Belch and Gladys Belch; her husband William Gresham Lee; her siblings, Jessa Lee, Reva, Beverly, Jimmy and Carl; her son-in-law Kenneth Hester; her grandson Adam Woodard; and her great grandchild Austin Mark Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Hester, Betty Woodard (Ronnie) and Jenny Starling (Ken); her grandchildren, Kelly Johnson (Mark), Jason Hester (Karra Kay), Matt Chestnut (Nichole), Ben Hester (Hope), Stephanie Hough (Adam), Amanda Hobbs (Chris), Derek Hester (Tara) and Josh Hester (Amber); her daughter Heather Woodard Weeks (Brian); her great grandchildren, Meredith Wilson (Gavin), Alaina Johnson, Madelyn Hobbs (Corbin), Molly Hobbs, Wyatt Chestnut, Ruthie Hester (Ian), Liam Hester, Andrew Hester, Avery Hester, Caden Paugh, Maxton Paugh, Kenslee Hester, Sam Hester, Sawyer Hester, Blake Hough, Abbie Hough, Haven Weeks, Jose Moreno (Monica) and Jose Aguillon (Kimberly); and her great great grandchildren, Reagan Wilson, Waylon Wilson and Sophia Aguillon.

“To all of Aunt Virginia's family (and friends) I know how much you loved her and the joy she brought to each of you in her own special way. Her presence will be sorely missed, but the voice of her spirit will always be with you. I'm grateful I had the chance to grow up when I did and count her as someone that I know loved me and I her. Her hugs were sincere and her words like a mother to all of us. There are many souls that have gone before you Aunt Virginia, what a reunion that will be.”
