Clara Aldridge Porterfield Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2026, at the age of 89, Clara Aldridge Porterfield of Prospect Hill, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maynard Aldridge and Mary Alice Oakley; her husband Roosevelt Lee "Buddy" Porterfield; her daughter Kimly Lee Porterfield Ellis; and her siblings, Junior Aldridge, Juanita Stanfield and Christine Beaver.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia P. Bradner (Ted) of Yanceyville and Shelia P. Sharpe of Yanceyville; and her grandchildren, Daryl Carver, Chasity Lunsford, Dana Willis, Kristen Mitchell, Sidney Ellis and Reagan Ellis. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
