She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Long and Mary Long; and her in-laws, Dan and Marion Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Townes Funeral Home & Crematory (215 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
In keeping with her wishes, no flowers are requested. Memorial donations may be made to the Danville Area Humane Society.
