We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, at the age of 65, William D. Durham of Providence, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lovelace Durham and Barbara Ann Ingram Cassell. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Champion Durham; his children, Brandi Mills Amanda (Jerry), Cameron Durham, Will Durham and Matt Durham; and his siblings, Lisa McDaniel and Gary Durham (Penny). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
