It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Dean Bumgarner Cooper of Purlear, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jeter Bumgarner and Nora Pierce Bumgarner; her husband Fred Cooper; her son Larry Cooper; and her siblings, Clara Goforth, Lorene Vannoy, Helen Marlowe, Rachel Walker, Earl Bumgarner and Wayne Bumgarner.

She is survived by : her daughter Linda Hamby (Robert) of Purlear; her brother Roy Bumgarner (Geraldine) of Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Mandi Gragg (Kelly) of Statesville, Larry Dean Cooper (Tanya) of Purlear, Matthew Cooper (Rebecca) of Wilbar, Chasity Welborn (Reggie) of Tobaccoville, Wade Palmer, Andrew Palmer and Laura Palmer Parker. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
