He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Marley and Jessie Greene Marley; and his siblings, Jerry Marley, Terry Marley and Eva Lou Marley Laws.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Ruth Teague Marley; his daughters, Sandra Jean Marley Walker (Mike) and Jackie Marley Gurnsey (Donald); his grandchildren, Scott Fleeman (Michele), Ashley Triplett (Caleb), Hannah Barrier (Caleb), Dylan Gurnsey and Matt Gurnsey (Jade); his great grandchildren, Kaylie, Grayson, Peyton, Lilah, Lilly and Wyatt; and his siblings, Linda Minton (Steve), Ann Crisp (Ronnie), Roger Marley and Gary Marley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
