He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Arville Hardy, Sr. and Carolyn Presnell Hardy; his daughter Leslie Lewis (Jamie) of Laurel Springs; his grandchildren, Hailey Snow Hartzog and Clint James Lewis; his siblings, Judy Hardy of Purlear and Jerry Hardy of Watauga County; his nephews, Justin Greene of Wilkesboro and Chris Greene of Ashe County; and his close friend Eddie Dare of Watauga County.
