He is survived by: his wife Jane Johnson Parsons; his sons, Jerry Kevin Parsons of Tillery and Christopher Bryan Parsons (Kimberly) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Amanda Parsons McConnell (Will), Jerry Duane Parsons (Jessica), Kendall Cayton (Bonday), Kayla Parsons Rhoads, Haley Parsons, Kinsley Walker (William) and Kendra Parsons; his great grandchildren, Barett Oakley, Jayden Cayton, Marleigh Cayton, Owen Parsons, Chamber Cayton, Eli Parsons, Rance Rhoads and Wilder Walker; and his sisters, Julia Dancy of North Wilkesboro and Jenny Church (Charles) of Purlear.
