He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bies and Helen Bies of Detroit, Michigan.. He is survived by: his sons, Richard and Charles Bies (Rebecca); his sisters, Barbara Bies-Herman and Dianne Bies; his grandchildren, Joshua (Kristen), Kaylee and Jessica; and his great grandchild Isaiah.
