He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Owens and McKinely Owens. He is survived by: his children, Henry Lee Owens Jr., Mary McLean, Levonya McLean and Sonya Owens; his adoptive children, Aaron and Chevonne Cotton; his daughter Michelle Owens; and his nephew Kevin Owens. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren.
