She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredis Stevenson Hudson and Boyd Bruce Hudson, Sr.; her husband Aubrey Gaddis; her sons, Richard, Tom and Daniel Gaddis; and her brother Bruce Hudson (Carmel Hudson).
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Gina Gaddis of Lillington, NC and Susan Sherma Gaddis of Asheville, NC; and her sisters, Kaye Lambert (Bill) of Fayetteville, NC, Gail Zimmerman of Johnson City, TN and Pamela Haskett (David) of Yorktown, VA. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, one nephew, their families, as well as friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (3219 Lindsay Rd, Raeford, NC 28376).
