With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaVerna Byrd of Raeford, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilrey Hammac and Averine Grace Teel Hammac; and her siblings, Elmer Teel, Fletcher Hammac, Paul Hammac and Randy Hammac.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray Byrd; her children, Diana (Robert Kessler), Lee (Jason Fulcher), Elaine (Greg Fromer) and Hilrey (Jeffrey Hicks); and her grandchildren, Jacqueline N. Turk of Ohio, Robert M. M. Kessler (Mickey) of Ohio, Cherie F. Clinton of Georgia, A. Casey Parsons of Georgia, Jacob H. Fulcher of Georgia, Taylor Renee Fromer of Cabanal, Guatamala of North Carolina, Gregory S. Fromer of North Carolina, Eva M. Fromer of North Carolina, Grace A. Fromer of North Carolina, Amanda K. Hicks of Texas, Ashley M. Bonds of Missouri and Lindsey O. Hicks of Texas. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
