She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Spencer and Eva Spencer; and her siblings, Johnny Spencer, Jimmy Spencer, Ricky Spencer and Rhonda Velevis.

She is survived by : her husband Wilbert Barefoot; her son Terry Long (Janel) of Raeford; her stepdaughters, Beth Barefoot of Raeford and Morgan Barefoot of Raeford; her granddaughters, Ashley Shortridge (Michael) of Raeford and Casey Long of Raeford; and her siblings, Kathy Johnson (Terry) of Raeford and Bobby Spencer (Betty) of Raeford. She is also survived by four step grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford (131 Harris Ave, Raeford, NC 28376). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at the Raeford Cemetery.
