She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Miller and Dorothy Miller; and her siblings, Barbara Nesbitt and Elton Miller, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Barnes, Sr.; her children, Bambi Hayward (Danny) of Raeford, Dorothy Jordan of Raeford and Bernard Barnes, Jr. (Pamie) of Raeford; and her grandchildren, Annette, Kira, Anthony, Crystal, Amanda, David, Thomas, Kristen and Joseph. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sandy Grove Church (6800 Arabia Rd, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
