He was predeceased by: his stepfather Harold Brown Currie. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cecil; his mother Shirley Currie; and his siblings, Johnny Cecil (Veronica), William Currie and Peggy Cecil Hinds (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crumpler Funeral Home (131 Harris Ave, Raeford, NC 28376). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Currie Family Cemetery.
