He is survived by : his wife Teresa Wilkerson King; his son Thomas S. King; his siblings, Harry King (Ramsey), Charles King (Rose), Sadie Sanders (Robert), Patricia Purdie (Willie), Linda Cunningham (Michael) and Sharon Edwards (Leonard); and his grandchild S. King II. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sandy Grove Family Life Center (570 Sandy Grove Rd, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
