He was predeceased by: his parents, William Odom and Annie Hamilton Odom; and his former wife Edna Canady Odom. He is survived by: his son David of Middleburg, FL.; his wife Shirley Watts Odom; his children, Betty Odom of St. Pauls, NC, John (Kelly) of Morehead City, NC, James of Willow Spring, NC and Randy Watts (Cathy) of Greenville, NC; his sisters, Nora Smith, Ruby Johnson, Mary Register, Flora Fisher and Frances Blackmon (James); and his daughter-in-law Dora. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
