She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Nelson Narron and Hettie Davis Narron; her husband John Wesley Curtis; her children, Jonnie Sandra Curtis, John Wesley Curtis, Jr., Tony Lynn Curtis, Sr. and Judy Curtis Patton; her grandson Jonathan Patton; and her siblings, Dewey Nelson Narron, Joyce Doris Narron, Ishmael Worth "Skin" Narron, Ellene Narron and Charles Narron.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Ed Patton and Lora Curtis; her grandchildren, Tony Curtis, Jr., Sandy Adele Salazar (Nickolas) and Denise P. Denton (Keith); and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Michael, Presley, Anna Curtis, Leia, Violet Salazar, Jolee and Emma Denton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Vision Baptist Church Building Fund or Duke Children's Hospital.
