He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Maude Lyttle of Virginia and Anderson Jones, Jr.; his wife Sitara; his daughters, Courtney (Anthony) of Atlanta, GA and Cydney of Cary, NC.; and his brothers, Michael (Deborah) of Hampton, VA and Melvin (Angela) of Chester, VA.. He was also cherished by inlaws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Duke Cancer Center in his name.
