It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Firth Mackie of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Mackie, Jr. and Mary Wipperman Mackie. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Urankar Mackie of Pittsburg; his siblings, John W. Mackie III (Joy) and Allison Kerr Mackie Haworth (Gary); his daughters, Linda Mackie McCall (Jonathan) and Susan Mackie Chang (Bailey); and his grandchildren, Adrian Dale McCall, Thomas Andrew McCall, Miriam Elizabeth Chang, Enoch Euling Chang and Ruth Anne Chang.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (4415 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
Gifts in Andrew's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Transitions LifeCare Hospice, and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
