He was predeceased by: his parents, AC Nix and Frances Nix; and his sister Christy Nix. He is survived by: his daughters, Candace Nix Coover and Emily Nix Hennings; his grandchildren, Ethan Coover, Elliott Williams, Roman Hennings, Mason Hennings and Camden Hennings; and his sister Debra Stephenson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1621 Broad St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526).
