He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Gupton and J. F. Gupton; his spouse Urbanna Cromartie; his children, Caroline and Jonathan; his son-in-law Steve; and his grandchildren, Sophia, William, Sofia and Antonio.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh (112 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601).
