She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Telphus Lee Dunn; her son Donnie R. Dunn; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Dunn; her granddaughter Damiya Dunn; and her siblings, Ozella Robinson, Clemmie Brown and James Bishop Johnson of Sulligent, AL.
She is survived by: her daughters, Telphenia A. Dunn and Coretta Y. Dunn (Howard); her grandchildren, Alyssa B. Dunn and Christian A. Dunn; her great grandchild Ava McQuay; her close friend Winston B. Dunn; and her siblings, Rector Jr. Johnson (Margaret) of Detroit, AL, Bob Joe Johnson (Sallie Mae) of Veron, AL, Jerry Johnson of Vernon, AL, Terry Johnson (Miranda) of Vernon, AL, Esker Johnson of Sulligent, AL, Troy Johnson of Tuscaloosa, AL, Rammie Johnson of Sulligent, AL, Patrick Woods (Fortune), Dorothy Smith of Quinton, AL and Lula Karon Smith (David) of Veron, AL..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church (908 Suffolk Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27603).
