She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Earl Farmer and Hannah Ruth Farmer (Moss); her husband Carl Hughes; and her sister Cecileia. She is survived by: her brother Daniel Farmer (Irmo); and her nephews, Danny Farmer, Scott Farmer (Irmo), Patrick Shultz (Conover), Josh Shultz and Russell Shultz.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pullen Memorial Baptist Church (1801 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27605).
