She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Patrick Parnell and Mary Teresa Padden Parnell. She is survived by: her husband Larry Johnson; her children, Keara Suzik (Kevin), Jennifer Patella (James) and Liam Johnson (Haley); her grandchildren, Maeghan Suzik, Patrick Patella, Molly Patella and Grace Suzik; and her siblings, Jerome Parnell II (Rory), Dennis Parnell (Karen), Kevin Parnell (Debbie Perry) and Mary Ellen Post (Jeffrey). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Renaissance Funeral Home (7615 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
